What's up girlfriend-
Tonight I was watching Anderson Cooper 360. (It was either that or Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew) They were actually showing a live video of Hillary Clinton's home in DC.
(Can you imagine turning on CNN and being like...oh wow.. we need to mow the lawn!) Now, we don't need to discuss society's nearly constant need for voyeurism, but Anderson's point was that Hillary and Obama might be inside her home discussing "business". Not only did he speculate about Obama being there (there is a lot of secret service movement now, Anderson, and a dark car just backed up into the driveway) but mostly the speculation was regarding just what, exactly, they were having a discussion about. This "news" show actually filled two hours with nothing but speculation.
Oddly, during the 20 minutes or so that I subjected myself to Anderson's drivel, what I noticed most was the comments about how Bill Clinton probably was not there (they joked that he was sent out for burgers) because Hillary really needed to do things herself. She wanted to meet with Barak one-on-one and didn't even want her "people" in the room.
Many, many times it was mentioned that Hillary wanted to do things "on her own" without Bill. After so much of this I couldn't help but think: why haven't I heard anyone say that about Barak Obama? He's. A. Man.
The sexism continues to the bitter end and is so ingrained that they don't even know what they are saying!
Wouldn't it be hilarious if the three of them were really in there eating Taco Bell,surfing PerezHilton, and laughing their asses off at Anderson's ridiculous speculations. You know they were.
